Garters, Horseshoes & Charms

Garters, horseshoes and charms

Beautiful bridal accessories can play an important role at your wedding celebrations. Throwing a garter is considered one of the oldest surviving traditions. These days, the groom is responsible for removing and tossing the bridal garter to the eagerly awaiting groomsmen and male guests. The lucky recipient would then offer this to the girl of his choice as a symbol of good luck. Another tradition is for guests to offer the bride a horseshoe at her ceremony as it is considered a token of good luck, so long as the horseshoe is facing upwards, so the luck will not fall out.
